WASHINGTON, DC — Rachel Pearson today announced the launch of The Complete Agency, formerly known as Pearson & Associates. The Complete Agency provides strategic planning and counsel for Fortune 500 companies, leading associations, institutional investors, nonprofits, and individuals rooted in building meaningful relationships and innovative approaches to creative advocacy. It excels at building bipartisan tables and crafting bipartisan solutions.
Joining Rachel Pearson and Laura Valentine, Chief of Staff at The Complete Agency, are Doug Calidas, former Chief of Staff for Senator Amy Klobuchar (D-Minnesota), and Allison Haindfield, former Director of Operations and Scheduling for Senator Deb Fischer (R-Nebraska). Toby Tyler Douthat, former Deputy Communications Director for Senator Lindsey Graham (R-South Carolina), is also a new addition to Pearson’s growing operations – she joins as Executive Director of Pearson’s non-profit, Engage: Promoting Women’s Economic Security, and as Of Counsel to The Complete Agency.
Doug Calidas joins The Complete Agency as Vice President and Policy Director after five years with the office of Senator Amy Klobuchar, a senior member of the Senate Democratic leadership team. Doug most recently served as Chief of Staff for the Senator and brings to The Complete Agency a wealth of knowledge accumulated from his support of her work on competition, commerce, and agriculture issues. Before advising Senator Klobuchar, Doug served as Chief Counsel for Senator Joe Manchin and spent six years as an attorney in private practice at the law firm of Steptoe & Johnson.
Allison Haindfield joins The Complete Agency as Senior Policy Associate from the office of Senator Deb Fischer, where she most recently served as one of the Senator’s senior advisors for all strategic planning and scheduling operations. Allison brings to The Complete Agency a deep understanding of the relationships that exist between senior leaders on Capitol Hill and the private sector.
Toby Douthat joins The Complete Agency as Of Counsel after more than six years with Senator Lindsey Graham, most recently as Deputy Communications Director. In addition to her work with the Senator’s communications team, Toby led the office’s federal grants assistance operation and worked on the Senator’s successful 2020 reelection campaign. Toby will provide communications and messaging counsel to The Complete Agency in addition to her role as Executive Director of Engage.
