Laura Valentine is the Chief of Staff at The Complete Agency and has been with the firm since June 2017. Laura is also the Chief of Staff at Engage: Promoting Women’s Economic Security, where she serves as the top deputy to Founder & CEO Rachel Pearson. Laura develops programming and collateral, conducts development outreach, helps oversee partnerships, and contributes to The Thread newsletter.

From 2017 to 2023, Laura worked closely with Principal to Principal as Chief of Staff to Co-Founders Rachel Pearson & Kristi Rogers. Her work at P2P centered on helping organize Global Forum Dinners with Members of Congress, ambassadors, and business leaders. More recently, she assisted P2P’s Global Supply Chain Task Force as it develops reports and recommendations for Congress and the administration on how to address our supply chain challenges.

Before joining The Complete Agency, Laura spent two summers working for Congresswoman Ileana Ros-Lehtinen in both the Congresswoman’s District Office in Miami, Florida and in her Capitol Hill office. Laura graduated from Duke University in May 2017 with a degree in Public Policy Studies and a minor in History. While there, Laura’s proudest accomplishment was spending a semester studying her Cuban-American heritage through the lens of her grandmother and producing a microhistory titled “Mirta,” which details her grandmother’s life and experience in the context of the Cuban Revolution – before, during, and after.
